Hello, my name is Jana Lissy and I live and work in Berlin.
My paintings are created intuitively and through the process.
I use quick brushstrokes or palette knife/texture techniques across the medium, focusing on lines and details to create a narrative of life around me. My work emerges from my inner vision and spirit and I use memories to shape my composition to connect with my audience through visual representation.
Geometric shapes, sharp lines or color gestures activate the viewer's eye in a variety of colors.
I discovered my passion for art 25 years ago. I enthusiastically learned different painting techniques with acrylic paint, spray paint and mixed media on different materials such as ceramics, wood, canvas including stone.
Since then I have been creatively active and also run the Berlin concrete design label TINOLISS.
